Transformers Takes Another $36.7 Million on Friday

Despite some disappointing fan reviews, it seems there no stopping the robot revolution!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has earned yet another $36.7 million on Friday and brings its three day domestic total to a whopping $125.9 million.

While Bays new Transformers is heading for a five day worldwide box office record, it is estimated that its domestic haul over the same frame could be more than $190 million.



A little movie you may of heard of called The Dark Knight holds the five day opening domestic record with $203.8 million. The Transformers sequel could earn $115 million this weekend for a five day total of $205 million. That's alot of money!

Revenge of the Fallen which is a DreamWorks/Paramount release is currently playing at 4,234 theaters, 169 of which are IMAX.



LEEE777 - Well i know its getting mixed reactions but most really love the sequel and im personally glad its making all these Millions, we can look forward to a Transformers 3 and if anyone's listening a Transformers/Gi joe crossover movie sometime in the future! Hey come oooon, that would be cool! ; )
