A lot of TV shows which were prematurely cancelled deserve a comeback, but is The Tick among them? I'll have to leave that up to you guys to decide, but rumour has it that the series which aired for only nine episodes on Fox from 2001 to 2002 is set to find a new home on Amazon. The source (People) is questionable, but here's what they say. Original star Patrick Warburton has apparently signed a deal with Amazon and Sony to return as The Tick and original creator Ben Edlund will produce and write the series which will then air on the online streaming service. Edlund also penned the comic book which spawned an animated series back in the 90s, and the live-action show - which also starred Lost's Nestor Carbonell - has gained a bit of a Firefly-like cult following. By all accounts, it wasn't a bad series, but Fox failed to find an audience for it which is why it didn't last. Would you be interested in tuning in to a new iteration of The Tick
