Fans of Glenn Fabry's stunning painted covers for Garth Ennis' Preacher comic will definitely get a kick out of these new posters, featuring Jesse Custer and Cassidy. UPDATED with a new promo.
Preacher showrunner Seth Rogen just Tweeted the posters below. The Jesse Custer one recalls the very first issue of the comic, while the other is a variation of the cover for the issue that kicks off Cassidy's origin story. No Tulip, unfortunately.
Not long to go until the pilot episode of Preacher premieres on AMC. Early word is mostly very positive, but are you guys happy with what you've seen from the adaptation so far?
Based on the popular, cult comic book franchise of the same name, Preacher” is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
Preacher is set to premiere on May 22.
