When the trailer for season three of The Walking Dead hit, fans were pleasantly surprised to see Merle Dixon as part of The Governor's crew. People have been wondering just how his little brother Daryl will react when the two meet up for the first time since Merle made the decision to cut his hand off and escape from Atlanta. During the photo shoot for Entertainment Weekly Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker spoke about what is sure to be one twisted family reunion. "I think they are going to be happy to see each other, but this one is going to be a little more pissed off," said Reedus pointing to Rooker. "I’m always pissed off, so that’s not fair," responded Rooker. He also went on to say that he believes that Daryl is really the only one person that Merle likes.

The Walking Dead is set to return on October 14th of this year, and sparks are bond to fly when Merle meets back up with the group that abandoned him back in Atlanta. Throw Daryl's alliance to the group that has helped him survive as well as his allegiance to his brother and it would appear we are in for a chaotic season three. I'd actually like to see Merle eventually take out the Governor himself, it'll seem like a good thing but it just starts Merle's rise to an even bigger and badder bastard.
