San Diego Comic Con is less than a week away, and the convention floor will be gearing up for the thousands upon thousands of people that will be showing up this weekend. During the week we will be treated to some eagle-eye photos of convention exclusive posters and banners for you favorite TV shows, movies, and pop culture that are awaiting the opening of the convention.

It hasn't taken long for one of the first banners to be spotted on the floor,  as Twitter user SimonsJacket has snapped a photo of a new poster for AMC's The Walking Dead. The poster, which celebrates the show's 100th episode, features an older season one pic of Rick, as well as an almost mirror image of him from season eight. Also included on the banner are all the characters from the past seven seasons, contrasted with all the characters still left from the upcoming season.

The Walking Dead will return to AMC in October.

I have no real idea what the show could do to get me interested again, aside maybe from it moving towards some actual narrative ending. Right now it just seems like one big bleak train to nowhere, and I never regretted leaving it.

Urrrgh! - I gave up halfway through season 5. The show had just lost it's way and any sense of forward momentum with the storyline. It just felt like it was aimlessly meandering in the wilderness with no real direcion or purpose.

Fear the Walking Dead (Season 1 & 2) has been far better and reminds me of the World War Z book by Max Brooks.
