Thus launches the "Buffy" Season 9 spin-off..."Spike". This is a five issue miniseries from Dark Horse Comics, written by Victor Gischler and pencilled by Paul Lee. Entertainment Weekly (EW) have provided us "sneak peek" of how Spike separates himself from Buffy, how he copes with "a dark place" that the forbidden love has driven him to, and the disgruntled cockroaches that have been his loyal followers thus far. (No, I'm not making this up)

Despite the giant cockroaches "The focus is on Spike and his coming to terms with some things, sort of getting right in the head," says Gischler. "He loves Buffy, but can’t be with her. What does that mean to a vampire with a soul?"

I miss the Tv show.... Hopefully they'll do another movie with the TV cast. Team Buffy!

They should just give us back the show, getting sick of Twilight series. I'm getting tired of them assuming the comics are a new season. Comics don't have the same atmosphere as watching the series. Bring us back Buffy/Angel!

They NEED a movie.

Probably a bad example .. but the Sex and the City movies still made a ton of money at the box office.

Buffy still has a huge following and cult fanbase like SATC, so I'm sure a film will make lots of money.

Does anybody read the buffy comics?? What happened to Spike and Angel after the huge battle with Wolfram and Hart?
