4 Reasons Why You Need To Calm Down Over Justice League ACTION

Of course a new animated series premiere gets debut and the fanboys scream. Wanna know when that also happened? Spectacular Spiderman, Young Justice, Green Lantern TAS, and Beware The Batman. Yeah, exactly. Read on for five reasons why you need to chill the [frick] out over this new show.

4. You're a fanboy

You know who are the least worthy people to judge something based on a comic book? Fans. Oh a black guy got cast as a white guy in Fantastic Four? You know who cares? No one but like, 7 comic fans because no one cares about Fantastic Four.

Point is, a fan is usually never fit to judge something because they already have a preconceived notion of how something should be. Having those preconceived ideas rules out the possibility for change that everything needs. It'd be a disappointing world to see the same Batman cartoon every year with no change.

3. It's an ACTION CARTOON

Everyone jumps to the conclusion that it's a new Teen Titans GO. But in fact, it's been described as an action cartoon. Is there any real problem with it being an eleven minute action show? Is that really something to gripe about?

2. You have seen essentially nothing

Just like every other comic adaption in history, people jump to conclusions at the first still they see. In fact, literally every superhero cartoon show in the past 7 years has had the same reaction. Beware The Batman? Spectacular Spiderman? All of these shows ended up great despite the negative backlash before release. What's to say this isn't the same?

1. A TON OF PEOPLE FROM THE DCAU ARE WORKING ON IT

Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Bruce Timm, Paul Dini and more are involved with this new show. I really can't see how anyone can doubt the shows quality and complain about the changes when all the people from the old show are now working on the new one also. But y'know. Obviously just gonna end up like a new Teen Titans Go.

(which btw isnt a bad show you to be honest)

Lol I didn't know the outrage was this bad. I've been kind of busy this past week so I didn't really see many reactions to it.

From what I can see, I'll be perfectly honest, I'm conflicted. And really, that's the way you should feel, because when they show you something to change your mind, it becomes more exciting for you as you didn't have the anticipation from the beginning.

On one hand, the animation looks a little childish, but that's just from one still, we really can't criticize animation for one still. Also, the 11 minute episodes are worrying, but again, we don't know exactly what will be in those 11 minutes, so who knows.

But on the other hand, there's a fantastic voice cast of amazing actors. Why would Hamill voice Joker again (considering he said he was done) for a stupid kids show? That gives a bit of hope, plus, as you said, the writing team is impressive. I don't know yet if it'll be any good, but even though it's okay to express that you're a little worried, these people going out of their way to disown it already are not thinking clearly.

The 11 minute thing can go either way. There are a few shows that do great stuff in such a time frame.

Yeah based on what shows like Adventure Time have been able to build in 11 minute episodes, I bet this show could start off seeming like one off episodes Rih nothing but fighting, but by the end of the first season could have a overlapping story we all rave over.

But it'll probably be mediocre. Bring back Younf Justice, or at least another show in that universe/with that tone/in that animation style.

I agree with some . . .
oh wait. I'm a fan of comic books.

Sorry. My opinion doesn't count.
Excuse my arrogance, please.
