It Sounds Like We're Definitely Going To See A Certain GREEN LANTERN Ring In ARROW

Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim is still denying plans to introduce Hal Jordan in season four of Arrow, but he has dropped a very interesting hint about a major nod to the hero that we'll see in the premiere's flashback scenes. Hit the jump for details...

With mentions of a missing test pilot, Ferris Air, and Oliver Queen boarding a ship to Coast City, all the signs appeared to point to Hal Jordan showing up in the fourth season of Arrow. While executive producer Marc Guggenheim continues to deny that it will happen, he now appears to have confirmed that Green Lantern is going to show up in some form in the series. "There is a nod or two," he admitted in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. "There is a billboard that people will get a kick out of, and there may or may not be a ring in the season premiere."

No, it could be that Guggenheim is talking about the kind of ring which will make "Olicity" official (the horror...), but it sounds like it will more likely be tied into Green Lantern. With the recent sizzle reel making it clear that Oliver is going to start off his vigilante activities in Coast City, it's not too hard to imagine him bumping into Hal at some point depending on the kind of missions he embarks on (especially with A.R.G.U.S. and Amanda Waller involved). There's a chance that they're taking a slow burn approach with Hal, but it's clear that Green Lantern is going to have a presence of some sort on season four of Arrow. Do you think the future Corps member will make an appearance?

The only thing that could make Arrow season 4 worse than Arrow season 3 is adding in Green Lantern.

I hope this next season improves cause the last season went downhill after the mid season break

Can they just put Green Lantern in this or what? I mean the DCCU probably won't have Green Lantern in an actual movie for like at least 3 years. I don't get why you can't have him guest star for like one season...

They can tease all they want, and that's fine. But there's no way WB/DC is going to allow our next look at the GL franchise (a redemptive one at that) to be on a show that doesn't have the funds to blow us away. For a studio that gave us amazing shots in Gravity and Interstellar, I imagine they want to blow our socks off with GL. You can't do that on the CW, and that's why they put the kibosh on GL showing up there.

My sources report that Hal Jordan's costume will resemble Wolverine's as Magneto's costume was already taken. WB's partnership with FOX continues.

I [frick]ing hated the episode with Slade in S3. I was so excited to see the badass villain of S2 that took ages to defeat to return.....but then just becomes Thea's bitch. REALLY CW? REALLY? A whiny teenager beat Deathstroke? Oliver spent a whole season trying to take down Deathstroke then Thea just takes him down easy no-problem?

That is the reason I gave up on Arrow

Dosent matter what they say. I have lost interest in this show.
Anyway doubt WB/DC would allow GL on the CW

I dont like the idea of GL on Arrow. If anything give him his own show. Dont make him a guest appearance than never see him again. Thats teasing on the ultimate level.

A nod or two??

They've been nodding at Green Lantern on both Arrow and Flash.

Plus, the one McGee posted too.
