THE RETURN OF DEATHSTROKE AND TOMMY MERLYN — Malcolm (John Barrowman) puts Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Thea (Willa Holland) in a dangerous situation that lands them on Lian Yu with Oliver’s former enemy, Deathstroke (guest star Manu Bennett). A flashback reveals when Oliver and Maseo (guest star Karl Yune) returned to Starling City to retrieve the Omega bio weapon, and despite being under strict orders from Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) not to reveal himself to anyone, Oliver looks in on his family, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Tommy (guest star Colin Donnell). Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Erik Oleson.

Last week's episode was a small glimmer of hope that the show was returning to the greatness that was season 2. Hopefully tonight will continue that track record.

Stoked to see Slade back. Just interesting to see how he escapes when in the preview for last week we see him caged? I really do hope this season picks up. A few really cool moments but overall its been weak. Every week I'm much more hyped up for Flash and AOS. Still got a little less than half the season to go. I got faith.

Glad to see Slade back, I just wish he could have seen him in the Deathstroke suit again.

Also, anyone notice that Captain Lance's receding hair line was apparently fixed by Oliver's boat sinking.

I also kind of think that they had Paul Blackthorne shave his head this season because he looked more like Ras than Matt Nable just without the fu-man-chu mustache.

I am pretty darn excited to see the OMAC Atom suit next week too.

Hopefully Captain Boomerang escaped from prison, when Deathstroke did too. It would have been interesting to see those two team up.

They already used Constantine Drakon in the pilot episode and they were going to use onomatopoeia in the first season but changed his name to mr. Blank out of respect for the creator, Kevin smith.
