BATWOMAN Set To Introduce Classic Batman Villain Killer Croc According To Season 3, Episode 2 Synopsis

Batwoman season 3 is set to introduce Killer Croc based on a newly released synopsis for the second episode, while we also have our best look yet at Amitai Marmorstein as classic Batman villain Mad Hatter.

Despite Warner Bros.' insisting that its DC projects are all part of a connected Multiverse, its TV shows continue to be beholden to whatever is happening in the movies. That's why we don't see Batman making his presence felt in shows like Titans and Batwoman, though the latter series is set to make use of one of the Dark Knight's most iconic adversaries.

According to a newly surfaced synopsis for the October 20 episode on The CW (the second instalment of season 3), we're set to see a "new incarnation" of Killer Croc in this small screen Gotham City. We're not 100% sure what that means, but given the network's limited budget, chances are he'll be more human in appearance than what we saw in 2016's Suicide Squad.

"When a new incarnation of Gotham's swamp slumming Killer Croc surfaces and starts racking up a body count, the inaugural team-up of Batwoman (Javicia Leslie) and Alice (Rachel Skarsten) is put to the test," reads the synopsis. "But Alice isn't the only unwanted intrusion into Ryan's life when Jada Jet (Robin Givens) shows up at Wayne Enterprises, insisting on meeting the company's new CEO."

"Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Mary's (Nicole Kang) relationship is strained under the weight of a secret Luke is keeping," it concludes, "while Sophie (Meagan Tandy) finds herself becoming part of Ryan's inner circle."

Directed by Jeff Hunt and written by Chad Fiveash and James Stoteraux, "Loose Teeth" should be a fun episode of Batwoman, even if KIller Croc doesn't necessarily look like his comic book counterpart. There's a chance the show will surprise us, of course, and the villain could be a CG creation.

Batwoman season 3 premiere on The CW on Wednesday, October 13. A first look at Mad Hatter in that episode has been released (via Superherohype) which you can see below:

@dracula - same. I always get excited when reading the ''set to introduce claccis batman villain'' part of the title first, only to then realize it's in Batwoman.

They might as well make a Batman show, since it feels like we've gotten pretty much all of the Batman mythos on tv except for Batman himself

@bkmeijer - Only way id watch again is if they get a new creative team and introduce some big character i want to see.

Also really even before I gave up, always felt these older big villains shouldnt be on the show. Felt they should stick to character directly connected to batwoman and 90’s- present villains.

Think the actor they have as bruce in this show has potential. Get a completely different creative team and i would watch the hell out of that. After superman and lois, yeah id be interested in how they do a real batman show

@dracula - same here. It probably will be a long time before we get the world's finest on the big screen, but I would love to see them on the small screen with the right team

This is a shitty show, but I like it.
Just keep bringing in these comics characters and I'll keep watching.

More Steph Brown please. As Spoiler or even Robin or Batgirl (but not before we see Mary in the costume). Maybe get Tim Drake in there to get a good love triangle going with her and Luke.
Speaking of Luke, I love the Batwing suit, but I'd really love to see a suit based on John Ridley's Batman. They probably aren't allowed to call him Batman legally, but with Bruce gone I see no reason why, story-wise.

I'm also thinking we need some Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee in this, also known as Denver and Dumfree Tweed. Maybe even bring in Samuel Tweed (aka the Masquerader) who used to make costumes for Batman, but turned against him. Maybe reinvent him in a modern tech-suit context?

And if they get to spend some money, you could get a lot of mileage out of a good CG Man-Bat.
There's the classic Kirk Langstrom Man-Bat, the Francine Langstrom Man-Bat, and for a season finale you could have Talia and an army of Man-Bats.

Can't wait to see Killer Croc. Hope it's CG, since we already saw the prosthetics version in Suicide Squad.

Keep it coming. I don't care how shitty it gets. It could get Adam West campy and I wouldn't care. I'm hooked.

@Waddles - Just one episode and no costume. She did say "Spoiler alert" at one point though.

I'll pull over when they release a photo. That ought to be good for a laugh.

Everyone has their own specific tastes, which is cool, but I have never thought the show is as bad as a lot of people on this site make it out to be. Not saying its great by any means, but there have been worse on the air. The Inhumans anyone? Like a lot of shows, the initial season was definitely the weakest. The 2nd improved on that to an extent, considering all the changes that had to be made with the withdrawal of the lead actor, and hopefully the upcoming season will make further improvements. I'll continue to watch with my fingers crossed that it will continue to improve. Time will tell.

They're really trying to up the ratings this next season.

If they did something like the suit in Suicide Squad since it's a limited budget, that'd be fine. Still don't care about this show though.

I can't believe this show is still on. Then again, I can't believe people put ketchup on macaroni and cheese so what do I know.
