Ruby Rose decided to drop a series of bombshells about her time starring in Batwoman yesterday, confirming that she didn't quit, while also levelling a series of shocking allegations at the cast and crew.
Bizarrely, those claims included witnessing someone's face essentially melt off, though Warner Bros. was quick to shut the actress down by making it clear she was fired due to "multiple complaints about workplace behavior." Ultimately, there's probably elements of truth on both sides, but Camrus Johnson - who Rose called "an egomaniac kid" - has now chosen to respond.
"Batfam ya know I couldn’t go the whole day without saying something!" the Batwing actor says. "I love y’all, don’t think I haven’t seen all the love today. But yea fam, she was fired. And it is VERY hard to be fired when you’re the lead. Imagine what u have to do for that 2 happen."
"Since it was claimed she “walked away” last year I’m sure some of you may be pretty confused or upset, and even moreso that a lot of lies were spread today," Johnson continued. "Just know we have a lot of great souls working on this show and none of this changes that. From the top to the bottom."
Dougray Scott similarly came under fire from the former Kate Kane, but has yet to respond. There's clearly no love lost between Rose and Johnson, anyway, so it will be interesting to see if any other Batwoman actors decide to share their thoughts (we're guessing Warner Bros. would rather move on).
