CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS Image Provides First Official Look At LaMonica Garrett As The Anti-Monitor

As filming rolls on for The CW's highly-anticipated Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, we continue to get official character banners featuring some of the new (and familiar) faces we'll meet when event kicks-off later this year.

Next up is the main villain of the piece, The Anti-Monitor, who will be played by the same actor (LaMonica Garrett) that brought life to his more benevolent counterpart, The Monitor. This intimidating looking fella has made it his mission to bring about the end of the Multiverse, something we've already witnessed the beginning of in last night's episode of The Flash.

Check out the image below along with the previously released official and BTS shots, and let us know if you're looking forward to The CW's latest crossover in the comments.

Crisis on Infinite Earths kicks off on Sunday, Dec. 8 with Supergirl, before continuing with Monday's episode of Batwoman and Tuesday’s installment of The Flash. Then, after a month-long holiday break, the event concludes with the Jan. 14 episode of Arrow followed by a special installment of Legends of Tomorrow.

@RageDriver2401 - it’s like they’re trying to fool casual audiences into believing he’s a high tec white walker from GOT...

@Ayush - either that's a typo mistake in the article or someone didn't watch Arrow last night.

Awful adaptation of the Anti-Monitor, yet a better looking Apocalypse than Fox's version.

If only the tv and film CBM depts at WB had been reversed. These tv folks are actually trying on a low budget.

The DC show at HBO looks a lot more expensive, ditto Swamp Thing on DCU

Well, the face makeup doesn't look perfect, but his comics counterpart seems to have a half-mask most of the time. If they could put that in there, I think it would be excellent. Also, I wonder if he'll be normal-sized like the Monitor, or giant like the comics/concept art.

For anyone that isn't familiar with the beginning of the Crisis that aired last night in the Arrowverse, the first clip is the tease and the second clip is the actual start.

The Monitor was benevolent? He gave the book to Deegan, destroyed Earth-90 and was the bigger bad of elseworlds? Did I misunderstand something?
