Hot on the heels of that jaw-dropping Titans finale (and epic post-credits sequence), the DC Universe has released a fun new 30-second holiday teaser for their next live-action original series, Doom Patrol, featuring an early look at the chemistry shared between five of our six leads.

Along with the teaser comes six stylish new character posters that spotlight each member of the Doom Patrol, including The Chief (Timothy Dalton), Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), Cyborg (Joivan Wade),
Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Negative Man (Matt Bomer), and Robotman (Brendan Fraser).

DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC's most beloved groups of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol's members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities — but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence — and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TITANS, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.

Doom Patrol features:
Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder/The Chief
Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele/Robotman
Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor/Negative Man
April Bowlby as Rita Farr/
Elasti-Woman
Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg
Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane
Alan Tudyk as Eric Morden/Mr. Nobody

Cyborg looks QUESTIONABLE AS HELL.

Everyone else looks great. That teaser...I get what they're going for but its a charming and corny at the same time.

@KingPatel -
Literally both of these news stories (the teaser and the character posters) were covered in other articles...

@Darkknight2149 - The article was about the first two character posters only, Crazy Jane and Cyborg.

I couldn't find an earlier article with the teaser?

@LiteraryJoe -
That's because @KingPatel deleted it, despite it being just as well-written and formatted as this one. Yet somehow, he decided to leave Josh Wilding's character poster article up... And this article is about all the character posters, including the ones that Wilding covered. I can understand re-doing his article, because it didn't contain all of the character posters and the images were poorly formatted, but Patel pretty much stole both articles at once, only leaving Wilding's up because he's another editor... Which is pretty damned two-faced. If you are going to redo both articles, at least delete both of them.

@Darkknight2149 - Hmm. Well, it is possible that Patel wrote his first and it was in the queue. There is a way to tell by article number, but I guess not if the other is already deleted.

I'm excited for this show but Cyborg is disappointing. Looks like he's wearing a cheap Halloween suit.

They all look like they're from COMPLETELY different things. Idk what to think about this.

The Cyborg mask reminds me of when Supergirl had theirnCyborg Superman with the face plate.

Seeing Timothy Dalton makes me really miss Penny Dreadful.

So glad they changed the design of Negative Man’s face bandages and glasses - that was my only complaint. That little space for his “mouth” drove me nuts.

Side note: just got back from Aquaman and maybe it’s because I’m a child of 80s SciFi and action flicks - but I really loved every wild second of this movie. Even the jump scare explosions interrupting every semi-quiet moment made me cheer. Every posing comic book panel moment made me smile. It might be my favorite CBM of 2018....at least the most fun I’ve had at the theater since maybe Iron Man?

Swim at me bro.

@ElJefe - I thought it was pretty damn fun also! Kinda crazy that this site is being so quiet about it. The only problem I had was with some of the music choices.

@Saintsinnister - I think it’s strange too that there aren’t more who enjoyed it - but hey, there’s two of us! Haha

That Cyborg is just really throwing me off, lol. Like... the robotics don't look like it's part of him. They look like it's on him, like clothes and goggles. I've just come to the point where maybe he's hard to do in live-action.

@Chewtoy - I read through a lot of the reviews - a good example is Pete Travers from RS. Nearly all of them grudgingly admit they enjoyed the movie, toss in a few bad movie/water metaphors to spice up their review, then land on cheesy dialogue and a few plot complaints. A lot of the reviews don’t even sound bad haha it’s almost like they don’t want to admit they had fun at the movies watching Aquaman
