During the "DC in D.C." event, Geoff Johns revealed that he has been talking with film writer, Greg Berlanti about the possibility of creating a Hitman TV series.

Since both Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti have worked on shows in the Arrowverse, such as The Flash and Supergirl, a Hitman series could very well become part of the Arrowverse.

When asked about it on the panel, Johns gave a quick answer:

"My standard answer is, and Greg and I always joke about this, there’s always a chance because there always is a chance, but we actually are talking about Hitman.”

Should the series be given the green light, it would tell the story of Tommy Monaghan, who became a hitman for high-profile targets in Gotham City, after getting superpowers from a Bloodlines parasite bite. A character like this might stick out more in the Arrowverse since it would deal with more mature themes - but it might attract different audiences.

Do you think Hitman would be a good addition to the Arrowverse? Let us know in the comments.

In a better world we would have a cohesive, smoothly running DC movie universe, and they could do a connected Hitman show on HBO or so. Of course Tommy as an individual character could be put in the Arrowverse, but I'd want to have the whole crew, and I'd want to keep the basic setting in Gotham.

Hopefully his friend Natt the Hat would join too.

I love Hitman but I always thought it would be better as its own series on HBO or something.

Geoff Johns speaks? He never speaks for the DCEU so I'm surprised he's doing interviews at all.
