Season one wasn't great but I stuck with it and this season is definitely paying off. Great so far.

The main problem with Gotham at this point is its wildly inconsistent tone. At times it wants to be Burton or Nolan, and at other times it wants to be Schumacher. And most of the time that just doesn't work.

What a great episode tonight, The kid who plays Bruce really throws me off with that acting at times lol, He can be great when serious, But when he get's all sad and cries it just doesn't feel genuine haha. Other than that another awesome episode!

@thedangle1

If you read comics, then you would know that it's an "Elseworlds" story

Plus, after you get past the source material, the show is awesome....

And, the acting is far from over the top, with that said, it is a Tv show, and the acting, and the cinematography involved in this show is great

Plus, nobody ever said the word Joker on the show.

The arcs that they have for Penguin and The Riddler alone are worth the price of admission

And, the show is hinting towards Jean Paul Valley's father possibly making an appearance (if you read comics you know who that is)

I think it's time i got back into this show. I stopped watching episode 6 of last season because honestly, i found it very dull and uninteresting.

Seeing all these positive opinions and reviews is getting me to think it may be time to give it another shot. Let's see.

@thedangle1 Yeah, agree with pretty much what you said. The Jerome stuff was stupid, introducing villains before Batman is a factor is stupid. Everytime someone implies Gotham isn't a Batman show, they should get a judo chop to the throat.

The problem with this show is the show itself.

With S2 I've come to quite enjoy Gotham for the bizarre Elseworlds story that it is!

So who is Galavant going to frame? He clearly won't feed Bruce the real killer, so any name he gives him will be a trap.

People are still crying about this being set before Batman?
Read a comic or two. He's not the only interesting person in this city.

This show has become really good. I'm surprise that they are able to get away with a lot of the stuff they show, being network TV show beginning at 8 PM Est.

...Barbara KEAN!!!...not Gordon...note aside, since she lost it, almost every time she pops on screen, is wearing some attire Jokery related, mostly in color...
