STARGIRL: Starman Is Unhinged In The New Promo For Season 3, Episode 5, "The Thief"

Next week on Stargirl, Starman is back as the leader of the JSA, but things aren't exactly going well as he doesn't seem able to control his raging temper, which can't mean anything good.

With Courtney (Brec Bassinger) getting closer to Cameron (Hunter Sansone), while also helping him master his burgeoning ice abilities, she'll be putting her responsibilities as the leader of the Justice Society of America on the back burner and allowing Starman (Joel McHale) to step back into his former role.

However, based on the latest promo, it doesn't look like things are going according to plan as his temper seems to be getting way out of control and causing problems on the team's latest mission.

Meanwhile, Mike (Trae Romano) and Jakeem (Alkoya Brunson) approach Cindy (Meg DeLacy) with their own proposition, while Yolanda's (Yvette Monreal) decision to follow her intuition leads her to make a shocking discovery.

Check out the new promo for episode five, titled "Frenemies - Chapter Five: The Thief," below:

Brec Bassinger headlines the series as Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl, with a supporting main cast featuring Yvette Monreal as Yolanda Montez/Wildcat, Anjelika Washington as Beth Chapel/Dr. Mid-Nite, Cameron Gellman as Rick Tyler/Hourman, Trae Romano as Mike Dugan, Hunter Sansone as Cameron Mahkent, Neil Hopkins as Larry Crock, Joy Osmanski as Paula Brooks, Amy Smart as Barbara Whitmore, Meg DeLacy as Cindy Burman/Shiv, Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan/S.T.R.I.P.E., and Joel McHale as Sylvester Pemberton/Starman.

Keith David voices this season's big bad Mister Bones, while Jonathan Cake (Richard Swift/The Shade), Ysa Penarejo (Jennie-Lynn Hayden), Stella Smith (Artemis Crock), Alkoya Brunson (Jakeem Williams), Tim Gabriel (Todd Rice/Obsidian), and Seth Green (Thunderbolt) are set to appear this season in recurring roles.

"Frenemies - Chapter Five: The Thief" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

SECRETS AND LIES - As Courtney (Brec Bassinger) continues to secretly help Cameron (Hunter Sansone), the team notices she's pulling away from her role as the JSA leader. Finally, Yolanda's (Yvette Monreal) decision to follow her intuition leads her to make a shocking discovery. Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Joel McHale, Joy Osmanski and Neil Hopkins also star. Lea Thompson directed the episode written by Steve Harper (#305). @Kyos - You should, it's done with a lot of care and has the right tone that IMO all superhero shows should have. It's accessible to everyone.

They released a new updated trailer with some new footage in it @KingPatel probably in light of having to wait a week for a new episode. (Which is the first ever mid-Season break in the show's run)

Will post my review later.

But for now, I am very happy for Camney. <3 (Courtney and Cameron)
