Before it was announced that Melissa Benoist had won the role of Supergirl on The CW (then CBS) TV series, Gemma Atkinson (Emmerdale, Strictly Come Dancing) was rumored to have read for the part.

We never found out if that was true or not, but the British actress has now shared some very impressive fan-art which leaves little doubt that she'd be a great pick for the role of Kara's alternate universe counterpart, Power Girl.

Atkinson's post has led to some speculation that she may actually be in line to play the character on one of The CW's DC shows, but that's obviously quite a stretch.

@RaKita - Oh shut up, I've seen enough. Look again, the real boob would end just past where the extra part in the costume begins, if that makes sense.

@Boyle360 - girl here. Yeah it does look weird BUT I think it's because she's a larger size and her boobs kind of look saggy in this picture hence the long cleavage. If it was pushed up it'll look less noticeable I think.
