SUPERGIRL: More Set Pics Provide Our First Look At Jeremy Jordan As 'Toyman'

Well, the future Toyman that is! Over the past few days we've seen some snaps from the set of the CBS Supergirl pilot and this latest batch feature Smash star Jeremy Jordan as CatCo programmer Winn Schott.

Based on the DC Comics character, the drama tells the story of Kara Zor-El, who was born on the planet Krypton, but escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she’s been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin Superman. But now, at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.


Supergirl also stars Faran Tahir, Dean Cain, Helen Slater, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Calista Flockhart, Laura Benanti and Mehcad Brooks.

Remember when people bitched about how Grant Gustin would be horrible as barry and how he looked nothing like the character? LOL! Looking back those are some hilarious times.

Melissa Benoist is possibly the best actress in all of DCTV outside of Gotham, but hey. Whatever. she's going to kill it.

@FirstAvenger She's absolutely better than a lot of them, but Gotham has some great actress. Morena Baccarin for example.

I would love to hear some ideas on better casting that involves real analysis or examples because comic book tv and movie castings have surprised most of us in recent years with how good they end up being

I keep forgetting how most people on this website are experts within the acting field. Huh, you would think more people here would be directors or producers that have been entrusted with these casting decisions, but....
