Hey Everyone and Welcome to WDIM Plus, where today I will be breaking down the sixth episode of the first season of Superman and Lois, titled “Broken Trust”. This was the first episode in a while, after the show was off the air for eight weeks and Supergirl took its timeslot. At the time the studio stated that it was because the series had to stop and start filming again due to the COVID outbreak, and in fact the series is still shooting scenes to air later this season. There is a rumor out there that currently this is the only Arrowverse series doing well on the CW, and that if the other series fold that this show could move to HBO Max. I kind of hope this happens, since there needs to be more good stuff to watch on HBO Mac anyways and Superman and Lois is the only show that is probably the only series on the CW worth saving at this point. I really liked how this show started, and was kind of bummed out that I had to wait so long to watch more of it, especially in a time where a lot of series get released at all once. But this first episode back was pretty good as it had some great action and a modest amount of development for the two Kent sons as well as the ongoing story with Lois, that now involves Captain Luthor. The series so far has done a good job having multiple ongoing plotlines and still finding time to develop each during almost every episode. One storyline that I think is being looked over, that could end up being a total game changer for the show is the one involving Morgan Edge and Lana Lang, and as I get through the episode I will go into that a bit more later on. If this is your first time here at WDIM Plus, my name is Eric and breakdown movies and tv shows here weekly like Superman and Lois, so please subscribe, and hit the bell so YouTube knows to let you know when they come out. I also have an older channel named What Did I Miss, or WDIM for short, where I go over sci-fi movies and series and I have put a link in the description and at the end of the video for you to check that out as well.
