The Flash returns to The CW on March 2nd, and will pick up where the shortened season six left off. That was, of course, forced to end prematurely due to COVID-19, leaving us in the dark when it came to how the Scarlet Speedster's battle with Mirror Master would conclude.
While the first couple of episodes will be primarily made up of footage shot prior to the pandemic, we'll soon start to see a mixture before moving on to post-COVID instalments of the series.
Lead star Grant Gustin will have a completely different look for those episodes, something that's evident from photos the actor has shared of his new bulked up appearance. After detailing his past anxiety issues, as well as his decision to start taking better care of himself, Gustin said:
"[Around] episode 2 or 3 of season 7, Flash is gonna have a little bit of beef on his lanky frame. But more importantly I feel much happier and more present than I have in a long time."
In The Flash's seventh season, the Fastest Man Alive will ultimately defeat Mirror Master. But in doing so, he’ll also unleash an even more powerful and devastating threat on Central City: one that threatens to tear his team - and his marriage - apart.
