THE FLASH Star Grant Gustin Reveals New Bulked Up Appearance Ahead Of Season 7 Premiere On The CW

The Flash star Grant Gustin has spent the pandemic getting in shape, leaving his "lanky" frame behind for a bulked up appearance which will definitely change how the Flash is portrayed. Check it out...

The Flash returns to The CW on March 2nd, and will pick up where the shortened season six left off. That was, of course, forced to end prematurely due to COVID-19, leaving us in the dark when it came to how the Scarlet Speedster's battle with Mirror Master would conclude.

While the first couple of episodes will be primarily made up of footage shot prior to the pandemic, we'll soon start to see a mixture before moving on to post-COVID instalments of the series.

Lead star Grant Gustin will have a completely different look for those episodes, something that's evident from photos the actor has shared of his new bulked up appearance. After detailing his past anxiety issues, as well as his decision to start taking better care of himself, Gustin said:

"[Around] episode 2 or 3 of season 7, Flash is gonna have a little bit of beef on his lanky frame. But more importantly I feel much happier and more present than I have in a long time."

In The Flash's seventh season, the Fastest Man Alive will ultimately defeat Mirror Master. But in doing so, he’ll also unleash an even more powerful and devastating threat on Central City: one that threatens to tear his team - and his marriage - apart.

Hasn't wasted time with this pandemic going on.

Wonder how much long it will go, got renewed for season 8, thats when Arrow ended. If it goes on longer, id say end it at Season 10.

Once the pandemic is over, hope they do a Fastest Man Alive crossover with Superman And Lois. Could use the plot of the Superman The Animated Series episode, Speed Demon to give them a reason to do it.

Superman and Lois is almost here. Getting mostly good reviews. (no matter what can't be worst than Snyder's crap, at least Superman will act like Superman)

@JonAwesome - You can be skinny and be ripped and that's how Flash should be but he did skip leg day though.

Once the season wraps up the Mirror Mistress arc we know we are getting another 2 half season arcs, one with Godspeed. Considering season 6 was suppose to end with some Reverse Flash tease, guess its safe to say one of those arcs will be for him. Kind of hope not, no point in 2 speedster villain arcs in one season.

Kind of hoping Chillblaine serves as the new Captain Cold and we finally get some version of The Rogues as villains of an arc.

Really good for him, never had an issue with his smaller frame. Flash isn't a hero that needs to be bulky, his powers are speed, not super strength.
I guess because Amell was so ripped everyone expected Gustin to follow suit but that's never been necessary. Barrowman wasn't ripped either and still was one of the most intimidating villains that universe ever had.

His size never bothered me. The Flash is a runner. He should be more lean than guys with super strength.

I'm glad Grant is doing this for himself above all else.

Wow, so people really did mean it when they said in that promo video for Superman & Lois where some Arrowverse stars appeared in wishing the new show luck that he had bulked up. At first I didn't see it at all but this confirms it.

He looks great, congrats for his progress! Also inspires for others to give it a shot too if he was able to do it. :D
