TITANS Live-Action Series Casts Founding Doom Patrol Member Cliff Steele, A.K.A. Robotman
Following the casting announcements for The Chief & Elasti-Girl, DC's upcoming live-action Titans TV series has added another member of The Doom Patrol. Find out who'll be playing Robotman after the jump.
We recently got confirmation that the "freaks, outcasts, and social misfits" that make up The Doom Patrol will indeed appear on the upcoming live-action Titans series, and now we know who'll be playing another member of the team.
On the heels of the news that The Chief and Elasti-Girl have been cast, ComicBook reports that Jake Michaels (Designated Survivor) has landed the role of Cliff Steele, a.k.a. Robotman.
Here's the official description for this small-screen take on the character:
"A former race car driver, Cliff Steele was in a horrific accident that left his body uninhabitable. Cliff’s brain was saved by the mysterious Dr. Niles Caulder and he lives on in a powerful robotic body."
Steele and his pals will be introduced in the fifth episode of Titans, which is aptly titled "Doom Patrol".
