Earlier this month, HBO confirmed Game of Thrones will return for its eigth and final season in 2019, and now actress Maisie Williams has revealed the exact month.

Speaking to Metro News, Williams, who plays Arya Stark in the show, revealed that the first episode of Season 8 will premiere in April 2019.

"We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April [2019]," Williams said. "That’s a four-month turnaround for these huge episodes. There’s a lot that goes into the final edit. You would not want to rush this season at all. We owe it to our audience and our fans to really do this final season to the best of our abilities."

Season 8 will mark the final season of the incredibly popular Game of Thrones, which means Arya's long-winding journey will finally come to an end. Williams was asked how she hopes Arya's story wraps up.

"I’ve always said I wanted her to find peace," Williams said. "The things that have been driving her through her story have been very bitter and twisted and aggressive. I would love for Arya to find her true self again and let go of this anger and revenge that’s accompanied her on this journey. I’d love for her to be happy."

With the month now confirmed, let the countdown towards Game of Thrones Season 8 begin.

Worst kind of clickbait. Yes the article provides more information but there was plenty of room for the headline to provide the month: "Arya Stark Actress Maisie Williams Reveals GAME OF THRONES Season 8 Will Premiere April 2019 - learn more". Then the reader has the basic information and will click through if they want to learn more or can skip if all they were interested is in the month information.

Using the "must click" headline makes sense for a TWITTER post - you don't get your page view impression for advertising if you give the info out in the headline and people don't need to come to your site. But in this case, WE'RE ALREADY HERE. You already got us in your counts. If we want more info, we'll click. If we want to engage via comments we'll click. If all we wanted was the information you're teasing, don't be greedy.

Don't create a bad user experience of having to click to the article, find the information, and then click back. No, it doesn't sound like much but it happens everywhere and it's a waste of time. It's enough of a waste that I thought it worth spending 5 minutes complaining about it.
