Former GAME OF THRONES Actor Sean Bean Has Finally Revealed What Ned Stark's Last Words Were

For years, fans have come up with theories on what Ned Stark may have said just before he was killed way back in the penultimae episode of Game of Thrones' first season, but actor Sean Bean has now spilled the... well, beans.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Bean revealed that Ned was simply muttering a nondescript prayer of some sort.

[Ned was] just saying a prayer. It appears that way, doesn't it? I couldn't be too specific, because I don't know if religion was around in those days, whatever they were. I just though, 'What would you do if this were really gonna happen?' You probably would pray. You probably would murmur some words and you'd keep it quiet. You'd keep it to yourself.

What do you think? Are you satisfied with Ned Stark's last words, or were you expecting something else entirely?

The final season of Game of Thrones is scheduled for release in 2019.

@Otis - No, it's from Sharpe. One of his earlier roles that made him famous. He had a habit of saying bastard. There's a compilation video on Youtube that's just him swearing in the TV show.
