GAME OF THRONES: Daenerys Takes Command In The New Promo For Season 7, Episode 4: "The Spoils Of War"
"Enough with the clever plans." - After suffering another hit, next week, Daenerys takes matters into her own hands and it looks like it's going to be pretty damn awesome. Come check out the new promo now!
It took seven seasons, but fire and ice finally met tonight and it absolutely did not disappoint.
To start the hour, Jon & Davos arrived at Dragonstone where they met with Daenerys, Tyrion, and Missandei, a meeting that for the most part went much better than the last time a Stark stepped foot in the South. However, whether or not she'll help him in the coming battle with the Army of the Dead is yet-to-be-seen, although if there is a silver lining, she did let him mine the Dragonglass he desperately needs, so it's looking good for the time being.
Back at Winterfell, a very different Bran made his way home and reunited with his sister Sansa. They didn't spend too much time together, but Bran was able to inform her about his transformation into the Three-Eyed Raven, which she (like many others) has yet to fully comprehend. Meanwhile, Cersei exacted her revenge on Ellaria Sand by horrifically taking the life of the last Sand Snake, Tyene.
The hour ended with Grey Worm and the Unsullied seizing Casterly Rock, which, to their surprise, was more or less empty and it didn't take long for us to learn why as Jaime & the vast majority of the Lannister forces had made their way to Highgarden. After taking the Tyrell stronghold, Jaime had a heart-to-heart with Olenna Tyrell and knowing her fate was sealed, she dropped a major bombshell on the elder Lannister, revealing that she was in fact the one who murdered Joffrey so many seasons ago. The long-awaited revelation left Jaime reeling as Olenna left the land of the living with one last victory on her belt.
We don't have a synopsis for next week's hour yet, but it looks like Daenerys will be seeking retribution for what happened at Highgarden with Drogon in tow. The new preview also teases Jaime, Bronn, & the Lannister army engaged in another battle while Jon seemingly heads back North. Could another faceoff with the Night King be on the horizon?

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.
It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'
An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.
