Agatha: Coven of Chaos actor Joe Locke confirmed that filming was underway earlier this week, and the first photos from the set of the WandaVision spin-off have now found their way online.

The snaps aren't the clearest, but they do give us a glimpse of Locke - who is believed to be playing an older version of Wanda's son Billy, aka Wiccan - filming a scene alongside Agatha Harkness herself, Kathryn Hahn.

The pair were spotted in the North Point Mall in Georgia, which is doubling for the Westview Mall. We don't have much context for the scene in question, but one report indicates that Harkness was seen "chasing a young kid through the mall with Joe’s character trailing behind her."

Whatever's going on here, these two seem to be on good (or at least amicable) terms, which may suggest that they've put their differences aside to combat a larger threat.

Coven of Chaos will also star Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, and Emma Caulfield Ford, reprising her WandaVision role as Dottie. Aubrey Plaza is on board as the villain of the piece, and according to a recent rumor, the Legion alum will be playing Morgan Le Fay.

The show will focus on powerful witch Agatha Harkness, who almost managed to defeat the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) in the season finale of WandaVision before being bested and trapped in Westview in her "nosy neighbour Agnes" persona. Though Olsen is not expected to appear, there's speculation that Wanda might have something to do with Harkness' release and/or reformation following the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Jac Schaeffer, who is under a joint overall deal with Marvel and 20th Television, will serve as writer and executive producer and will also helm multiple episodes along with Gandja Monteiro (Wednesday; The Chi) and Rachel Goldberg (Cloak & Dagger; Mayans M.C.)

No premiere date has been announced.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Wanda destroying the Darkhold or her apparent death is what sets Agatha free.

Out of all the upcoming Disney+ Marvel shows, Agatha is probably my most anticipated one. I still think WandaVision is perhaps the best Disney+ Marvel show and with the same creators behind this one too, my hype is pretty huge for Agatha. Plus, it's one step closer to Young Avengers. FINALLY!! Very excited for Agatha and Vision Quest, if the rumors are correct and these shows set up the team.
