James D’Arcy On What Intrigued Him To Play Jarvis On AGENT CARTER

James D’Arcy sat down with Hero Complex and discussed many things regarding his role on Agent Carter. He also dished on why he decided to take the role as Jarvis on the series. Hit the jump to check it out!

While talking to Hero Complex, James D’Arcy told how his relationship with Hayley Atwell was a main reason why he took the role as Jarvis on Agent Carter,"I’ve known Haley for a long time, so I knew that the project was going to happen, but just as friends." He then continues, "Then I was in London and I was working on something else and got a phone call saying, “You’ve been offered this job, how do you feel about it?” I felt great about it is the answer." He then tells when he accepted the role he was very excited, and thought that this female lead TV series was a great idea, "I was very excited to come and work with [Atwell] and then I read the script for this and I thought it was really smart, really funny, great action, terrific leading role for a woman, which was something I thought I’d actually like to be a part of."
