Without getting into spoiler-territory, if you've seen Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War, then the ending of that blockbuster movie more or less finally confirmed that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't exist in the same Marvel Cinematic Universe unless, of course, something totally unexpected happens in these last three episodes of season five.

Meanwhile, it looks as though Talbot may, in fact, be the true Destroyer of Worlds as it looks like he's turned himself into Graviton.

Watch the new promo for episode twenty, titled "The One Who Will Save Us All," below:

TALBOT AND COULSON ATTEMPT TO AVERT EARTH'S DESTRUCTION, ON ABC'S 'MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.'

"The One Who Will Save Us All" - A newly determined Talbot takes Coulson to meet the enemy and attempts to stave off the destruction of Earth, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," FRIDAY, MAY 4 (9:01-10:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. features:
Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson
Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May
Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson/Quake
Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz
Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons
Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie
Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez
Nick Blood as Lance Hunter

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns with an all-new episode May 4

Pretty good episode. Didn't see Talbot as the Destroyer of Worlds though.

I think that in an episode or three Coulson will die. Daisy will have enough stuff for only one resurrection. But in order to win the war they have a better chance to win with someone enhanced and that someone may be Ruby. So Daisy has to choose between the two. The right choice is to shoot Ruby up with the gravitonium Deke was given for the Zephyr. Coulson stays dead.

Afterwards Mack & Elena leave and we come to the end, either of the season or of the series.

The way I see it, AOS events are going on during the early events of IW. Tony hinted at the Black Order invasion in NYC.

It will be interesting to see if they address half the population poofing away down the line.

@BlackBeltJones - I can see them doing a time jump and skipping over it.
