After months of rumours, Charlie Cox (SPOILER) finally reprised the role of Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The actor only had one scene in the movie, but it sounds like he has a bright, busy future ahead of him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Murphy's Multiverse claims that a source has told them to "expect to see [Daredevil] everywhere," with the site reiterating past claims that the Man Without Fear will factor into Disney+'s She-Hulk. They reveal we should expect to see Matt and Jennifer Walters "facing off in a court case involving a superhero tailor" and ol' Hornhead possibly even suited up in his yellow comic book costume.
The site adds that we could see Daredevil in Moon Knight this year, with Echo and Ironheart likely for 2023.
Finally, they address rumours of a solo outing for the character, and it sounds like the plan is for the hero to be reintroduced and overhauled in various other projects before getting his own. It's speculated that any sort of movie or TV show is at least a few years off and not expected to begin production in 2022.
Nothing is set in stone right now, but it's definitely looking like Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios have big plans for Daredevil in the MCU over the next few years. It's about time, and with Vincent D'Onofrio also back as Kingpin, fans are ready for the Man Without Fear to step into the spotlight in a way that highlights why he's one of Marvel's greatest superheroes (we're also hoping for an appearance in Spider-Man 4).
What do you hope the future holds in store for Daredevil?
