DAREDEVIL: Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock Expected To Be "Everywhere" In The MCU Over Next Few Years

A new rumour reveals that we should expect to see a lot of Charlie Cox's Man Without Fear in the MCU over the next few years, with multiple appearances planned before a possible solo project for the hero.

After months of rumours, Charlie Cox (SPOILER) finally reprised the role of Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The actor only had one scene in the movie, but it sounds like he has a bright, busy future ahead of him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Murphy's Multiverse claims that a source has told them to "expect to see [Daredevil] everywhere," with the site reiterating past claims that the Man Without Fear will factor into Disney+'s She-Hulk. They reveal we should expect to see Matt and Jennifer Walters "facing off in a court case involving a superhero tailor" and ol' Hornhead possibly even suited up in his yellow comic book costume.

The site adds that we could see Daredevil in Moon Knight this year, with Echo and Ironheart likely for 2023.

Finally, they address rumours of a solo outing for the character, and it sounds like the plan is for the hero to be reintroduced and overhauled in various other projects before getting his own. It's speculated that any sort of movie or TV show is at least a few years off and not expected to begin production in 2022.

Nothing is set in stone right now, but it's definitely looking like Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios have big plans for Daredevil in the MCU over the next few years. It's about time, and with Vincent D'Onofrio also back as Kingpin, fans are ready for the Man Without Fear to step into the spotlight in a way that highlights why he's one of Marvel's greatest superheroes (we're also hoping for an appearance in Spider-Man 4).

What do you hope the future holds in store for Daredevil?

Good. Would love to see him get his own films too. They already killed it with the Netflix show so I’m not that interested in seeing Disney try to compete with that. Let’s see what they can do with the Netflix cast on the big screen.

@MrDandy - Agree with this. Better to be compared (favourably?) to the 2003 DD movie than (unfavourably?) to the Netflix show.

@MrDandy - The Netflix shows had great writing and acting but the action and special effects were low budget. Daredevil needs fights and action pieces like Shang Chi.

@SonOfAGif - hopefully only the hand to hand part of shang chi and not the cgi dragon battles. I hope they keeps his fights grounded like the show still.

@SonOfAGif - low budget, still better quality. I feel it's time to cgi close quarters combat.

Not sure I want to see a Disney+ Daredevil show tbh...especially after seeing what they did to Kingpin in Hawkeye imo.

I don't immediately see how he would tie into Ironheart, but She-Hulk, Echo, Moon Knight and Spider-Man 4 appearances definitely make sense

Don't need "everywhere", just a couple of good Daredevil projects. Quality over quantity.

No need to point out where DC fans and Marvel fans sit, lel.

One franchise is set out on giving EVERYTHING to his fans and the other? Can't please anyone.

THE ABSOLUTE STATE!

@DipperPines - Not to me, but I suppose "giving" could include stuff that people don't really want, like getting a pair of porridge coloured socks for Christmas.

@Doomsday8888 - as a fan of both, I don’t see the need for division. But to each their own

I'm excited AF for Cox and Donofrio entering the canon universe.

However I'm afraid and in doubt, they will make it as dark as the Netflix Dd tv show.

Which was one of the main charms Netflix had.

Remember the corrupt detectives killing a unarmed man in Season 1?

Or this scene?

I doubt we'd get anything like this with Disney.

Not saying dark = good, not dark = bad, but this atmosphere just fits some street heroes perfectly.
