Marvel Unveils A Very Different Look For The Man Without Fear In DAREDEVIL Concept Art

The first official photo lands in roughly three hours time, but Marvel have now revealed a piece of concept art - clearly paying homage to Frank Miller - from their upcoming Netflix series starring Daredevil and it appears as if Matt Murdock won't be wearing his classic outfit. Check it out!

Marvel have released the first piece of official concept art from the Man Without Fear's upcoming Netflix series which stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock. Obviously this isn't the same as a live-action photo, and it could depict Daredevil before he dons an actual superhero costume, but I can't say I'm thrilled if this regular looking design is the final product as it's unfortunately less Arrow and The Flash and more...Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! It's worth noting that it does share some similarities to the outfit worn by Daredevil in Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.'s classic take on his origin, so let's not panic just yet anyway (see a comparison here). Either way, we'll know more when the first official image lands in three hours from now! What do you guys think of the concept art?

"Marvel's Daredevil" follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City.

I can see that it's REALLY different and may cause some controversy, but I really need to see a bit more.

Kinda reminds me of the costume in the old Incredible Hulk tv movie.

Also...obviously they're going more realistic as far as what a person can get away with in the real world, but this could very well be a prototype costume for the first episode. 13 episodes, could very well be a work in progress.

It's from Frank Millar's run. He had a flashback issue about how Matt came to know Elektra in the first place. Matt wore something like this - it was a red scarf he had bought as a gift for Elektra. She was in trouble, so he put it as a mask.

This is one of those things, like X-Men, and even some of the Batman movies, where maybe the costume isn't what I expected, but if the story and action is awesome, I won't care so much if the costume isn't closer to my ideal.

I'm assuming that this is his first "street" costume. Makes sense starting out. they'll most likely bring in his actual costume later. Marvel doesn't really shy away from bright classic costumes. Really, the only costume choices I've not really liked are what I've seen of Quicksilver and Deathlok. A lot of "Meh" there.

I just want the classic outfit.

He better just wear this for like three episodes and don the official suit.

Then again this is just the concept art. I'll wait for the panel and see what they have in mind.

I'm fine with the look, I just wonder if they will indeed be pulling some elements from Miller's run on the character (I haven't read much into this developing show, so I wouldn't know).

If that's the final costume...

MAKE MINE ARROW.

Totally digging on the Frank Miller inspired stuff I've seen so far on this though.

People actually think this will be his final costume? *facepalm*

It's quite obvious that NO superhero would start out using a professionally tailored, comic accurate suit. Plus we can't even tell what the deets are on the suit itself. I've got a feeling it's gonna look great.

Neat looking Noir art. I'm positive this won't be Daredevil's costume, but instead what he might have worn as a kid

@dio People just looking to bitch for no reason! Like I said, there's no way in hell any Superhero should start out using their classic, comic accurate outfit. I love it regardless.
