How pleased you'll be with this news will of course depend entirely on how you felt about Jessica's junkie neighbour turned sidekick in Jessica Jones, but Spoiler TV has managed to confirm that Eka Darville will return as Malcolm Ducasse (Powder in the comics) for Marvel and Netflix's superhero team-up show, The Defenders.

The website put the question to Darville at the Supanova Pop Culture Expo in Melbourne, Australia.

Spoiler TV: Malcolm and Jessica were quite close by the end of Jessica Jones. So I was wondering if you know yet whether or not you'll appear in 'The Defenders'?

Eka: Yes. I will be in it. I'm not sure how much yet but I will be in it.


It does make sense that Malcolm would still be hanging around, as it was heavily implied that he'd be helping Jones run Alias Investigations in the season finale - and if he is returning it's a safe bet we'll also see supporting characters from Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Will you be glad to see Malcolm again, or did you find him to be a tad on the annoying side in Jessica Jones?

I thought Malcolm was great in the show, the annoying part was that he got stuck with Robyn. Ugh.

@iDontWikeIt - Nope. She feels unrealistic. The whole show feels like the opposite of cliche, and every character feels like they could exist in the real world. Except her, she feels like a walking talking cliche.

Rosario Dawson was arrested at a Democracy Spring Protest in Washington. She and several others were apprehended for “crowding, obstructing, or incommoding” after she crossed police lines during the rally. Apparently she and other protesters were warned “multiple times” that they would be arrested if they continued to demonstrate there.

It's nothing major though. She was fined for $50 and processed on site. She also praised the police and the way they handled the situation.

Defenders should have a few characters from everybodys supporting cast in there. I at least expect Karen, Foggy and Claire to show up in Defenders as well.
