Following today's trailer, Marvel and Netflix have released a somewhat unusual promo banner for The Defenders, which assembles our four heroes together. Well, parts of them, anyway. Take a look.
Earlier today, the highly anticipated first trailer for Marvel and Netflix's The Defenders finally debuted, and now we have a new banner to go with it.
Rather than taking the traditional approach of showing us the characters' faces, this poster aims the camera a little lower. You could see it as an attempt to emphasize the contrasting personalities of the four heroes, or to highlight the gritty streets of New York while presenting the city as a character in its own right.
Then again, maybe they just really dig the team's footwear.
“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal - to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
The Defenders assemble on Netflix on August 18.
