Appearing at the 2019 comic book and television convention in Fiumicino, Italy, Sebastian Stan touched on what he hopes to see in the upcoming Falcon and the Winter Soldier miniseries set to debut on Disney+. There's still a ton of mystery surrounding this show, and the other confirmed Marvel Cinematic Universe series (Marvel's What If...?, WandaVision and Loki), but Stan told fans in attendance that he wants to see more character moments for Bucky.
"I think it's time for Bucky to go out there and have an identity outside of the circumstances that we've met him through. He might do all kinds of things. He might even go on a date. [It's a] scary world out there, you know? Apps, things like that. I don't know what he's gonna do. I can't see him on an iPhone...I think it's gonna be a lot of dealing with Anthony's character and Anthony himself which is always another character."
Stan went on to joke that he loves working with Anthony Mackie and that the miniseries will certainly have more, "move your seat up" moments.
Stan closed out his panel by revealing that , "We're going to start in October," which means fans shouldn't expect the series to show up on the Disney+ streaming service as a launch title this November.
