Funko has revealed two more Pops for Marvel Studios' Hawkeye, this time depicting Clint Barton and Kate Bishop in their ugly Christmas sweaters. In last Wednesday's episode, the two heroes bonded over old holiday movies and some colourful drinks, all while decked out in suitably garish attire.
Of course, things wrapped up in a predictably action-packed way, with Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova taking aim at Clint in a rooftop battle that got seriously intense. Now, directors Bert and Bertie talked to Entertainment Tonight about working with Pugh.
"Watching her decision-making and being really brave with the character not only was inspiring, but also just a lot of fun," Bert said of the Black Widow star. "What’s great about her is she's batshit crazy. She's like us!" Bertie agreed with that sentiment, adding: "For instance, we'd chosen a certain outfit for her to wear, but she was like, 'I get that. But also, this is Yelena we’re talking about.' She was so good at choosing things for great reasons."
We're anticipating seeing much more of Yelena in the next two episode of Hawkeye as a recent promo showed her unmasked and seemingly interacting with both Clint and Kate. Throw in rumours of that character making his return, and there's a lot of story to cram into these final two weeks.
