Hawkeye has received widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike, and star Hailee Steinfeld has now found herself in the top spot of IMDb's ranking of the most popular actors on the site. Topping the likes of Ghostbusters: Afterlife star Mckenna Grace and No Time to Die's Ana de Armas, it's no great surprise that fans are keen to know where else they can see Steinfeld's work.
Prior to joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she delivered an Oscar-nominated performance in True Grit before later starring in the likes of Pitch Perfect, Bumblebee, and Dickinson.
Of course, Hawkeye isn't Steinfeld's first comic book movie role as she previously lent her voice to Spider-Gwen in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. She's expected to return for the sequel and that rumoured female-led spinoff that will put the spotlight on this Gwen Stacy Variant.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently confirmed that Steinfeld didn't even need to audition for the role of Kate Bishop, emphasising that they wanted her for this role from the start. Now, it's looking like she has a bright future as the MCU's new Hawkeye, though there's currently no word on where the archer will next appear following her introduction in the Disney+ series.
Yesterday's episode of Hawkeye set the stage for big things to come in this corner of the MCU, and if that villain is indeed set to return, then Kate could soon find herself facing a truly formidable opponent.
Needless to say, these two need to be protected at all costs...
