Out of all of the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Inhumans which was originally slated for November 2018 and then July 2019, as had its fair of rumors and speculations regarding its fate behind the scenes, from reports that it was being cancelled, that the movie was all work from Ike Perlmutter just for promote Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. & that Kevin Feige never wanted to do it to begin with and it all seemed to be right when the movie was taken off schedule, but during San Diego Comic Con, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was quick to reaffirm that the project its still alive and we may see it in the next 4-5 years.

This is what he had to say "We've announced through 2019, we have ideas through 2021. It sounds like the future but it's not so far away. We're determining what we'll be doing then and certainly Inhumans will be part of that."

Marvel has already slated May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020 and November 6, 2020 for some yet to be revealed movies, so its likely Inhumans could be released on either date if not somewhere down the line in 2021, we will keep you updated on the status of the Inhumans when more news arrives, stay tuned.

InHumans should go with a lord of the rings, thor style opening with 5-10 minutes of exposition to give the back story then start with the InHumans starting with their new city on the dark side of the moon.

@GinjaNinja - this way they don't retcon AOS and they just get down to the story and not have a huge origins story. Just explain how they got there and have a movie. Especially since by 2020 inhumans will have been active on earth for 5 years

2020: GOTG3, Dr. Strange 2, InHumans
2021: Spiderman 2, Black Panther, New Solo film
2022: Thor 4, Ant Man 3, Ms Marvel 2.
2023: New Avengers.

I could easily see this as phase 4 in the marvel movies.

@GinjaNinja - Also if they get Fantastic Four, there is plenty of room to fit in a movie or 2 every couple years. MCU could go for 20 years and we could see the grandest film universe around

Inhumans still happening: YES!!!!
IN 2020-2021: WTF!?!?!

This could be such a big part of the MCU. Maybe that's why they're waiting. So the inhumans can be at the forefront of whatever phase will be in 4-5 years.
