Like every other Marvel TV show on Netflix,
Jessica Jones has been cancelled. However, that news came after work on the third season had begun and now the last-minute marketing campaign for the series has begun. Billed as "the final season," we still don't know whether we're going to get a satisfying ending but we do now know that we'll be able to watch it on June 14th.
According to the official synopsis,
"When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down. But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both."
That's pretty much all we know as of right now but the villain can be heard branding Jessica a "fraud" in this teaser. What that remains for the P.I. and reluctant hero remains to be seen.
Netflix has also released a handful of official images from
Jessica Jones' final season and you can check those out by

Malcolm is working for Hogarth now and it's a pretty unique partnership which could pose a problem for Jessica if they end up pursuing the same person she's after throughout this season.
A pretty standard and unrevealing shot of the show's titular character, this doesn't tell us much about what to expect but it seems as if she's back working as a P.I. despite what happened in season two.
The last time we saw Trish, she had undergone quite the transformation and now has superpowers of her own. Based on this image, she's been training a lot since then and may finally become Hellcat.
Jessica is back in her favourite place and it will be interesting seeing whether she gets a proper ending unlike the other characters who inhabit this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
