JESSICA JONES Season 3 Teaser Trailer, Stills, And Premiere Date Revealed

Like every other Marvel TV show on Netflix, Jessica Jones has been cancelled. However, that news came after work on the third season had begun and now the last-minute marketing campaign for the series has begun. Billed as "the final season," we still don't know whether we're going to get a satisfying ending but we do now know that we'll be able to watch it on June 14th.

According to the official synopsis, "When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down.  But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both."

That's pretty much all we know as of right now but the villain can be heard branding Jessica a "fraud" in this teaser. What that remains for the P.I. and reluctant hero remains to be seen.

Netflix has also released a handful of official images from Jessica Jones' final season and you can check those out by clicking on the "View List" button beneath the teaser trailer. Are you excited to check out the last of Marvel's TV shows on Netflix? Let us know in the comments section.

Malcolm is working for Hogarth now and it's a pretty unique partnership which could pose a problem for Jessica if they end up pursuing the same person she's after throughout this season.

A pretty standard and unrevealing shot of the show's titular character, this doesn't tell us much about what to expect but it seems as if she's back working as a P.I. despite what happened in season two.

The last time we saw Trish, she had undergone quite the transformation and now has superpowers of her own. Based on this image, she's been training a lot since then and may finally become Hellcat.

Jessica is back in her favourite place and it will be interesting seeing whether she gets a proper ending unlike the other characters who inhabit this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I would like to know what this community thinks of this:

Is it worth watching JJ S3 because it's the final season of Marvel Netflix

or

Is it pointless to watch this because it is probably going to go nowhere now that Marvel Netflix has been cancelled?

@mastakilla39 - worth it because it is the last marvel Netflix season and also to see if the show returns to its high quality of its first season after a god awful season 2

@mastakilla39 - Worth it. Though cancelled, I currently consider every Marvel show (Netflix Marvel, Hulu Marvel, Agents of SHIELD, Cloak and Dagger, etc. to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe until proven otherwise.

I was annoyed by Jessica Jones season 2, but I’m hoping this one is better and gives a great closure to the Marvel Netflix shows.

I wonder how these Netflix shows will be revived if at all?

Daredevil and Punisher should probably come over to the movies while the rest are revived on Disney+.

Won't happen until at least 2021-22 though.

@Nightwing1015 - I understand that Netflix has the rights for the shows that have already aired for several more years, but what I don't understand is why they can't make new seasons on Disney+.

I can't guess who that might be but bring it on. Jessica first 2 seasons were my favorite Netflix shows.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - armed with the power to make these shows disappear like that... They call it, mercy

@MyCoolYoung

For most shows outside of Daredevil it was mercy imo 👀

@regularmovieguy - I'd more so call it being a futurist trying to put a suit of armor around their streaming service.

They saw a bigger threat looming and opted to become Pre-vengers rather than Avengers

@2pacman - It was purely Netflix's choice.

Well its finally here, the last Marvel Netflix show - First season of JJ was excellent, season 2 was ok, but some of the writing and character arcs were a bit bewildering at times. Hopefully season 3 is good and Trish (Hellcat) redeems her questionable past decisions.

If they get revived it will be Hulu not Disney+

@knocturnalzen10 - Daredevil really hurts. S3 was a masterpiece DD work.

@BlackBeltJones - S3 was so well weighted and gave such a feeling of dread ..... Cox needs a nom for something .... with Disney plus i'm wondering how they will tackle that QT of grit .

@knocturnalzen10 - Falcon and Winter Soldier, as well as Hawkeye, seem like their best bet at coming even a little close to what DD did thematically.

The material is there its just up to Feige and his team.
