Sounds Like DAREDEVIL Villain 'Nuke' Is Coming To JESSICA JONES Season 1

We didn't get a huge amount of major reveals at Marvel and Netflix's panel at the New York Comic Con, but a new interview with actor Wil Traval (Dexter) reveals that he'll be playing some sort of version of Captain America and Avengers villain Nuke in Jessica Jones...

Despite being listed on IMDb as "NYPD Cop", it sounds like Wil Traval's Jessica Jones role is much more significant than expected. Talking to IGN at the New York Comic Con, the actor revealed that his character is called "Simpson" and that he's based on post-Vietnam War super-soldiers (though he has been somewhat "reinvented" for the show). Sound familiar? In the comic books, Frank Simpson was the result of an attempt to recreate the process that created Captain America.

With the American flag tattooed on his face, and believing he is still fighting in the Vietnam war, the highly unstable Nuke has been conditioned to blindly follow any orders his superiors give. However, Daredevil fans will no doubt remember that he was at one point hired by the Kingpin to take out The Man Without Fear, so there could be some surprising connections here. What do you think?
