LOKI: Lady Loki Speculation Mounts As Marvel Comics Rushes To Release New Printings Of Past Appearances

There's less than a month to go until Loki arrives on Disney+, and Bleeding Cool has done some digging that may confirm rumours that we'll be seeing Lady Loki in the series.

Marvel Comics has reportedly notified retailers that they're rushing out a new Loki collection titled Loki: Mistress Of Mischief

"Loki reborn! When the Asgardian cycle of life begins again after Ragnarok, Thor's brother Loki comes back as...Thor's sister!" reads Diamond's description. "Loki returns with a sense of purpose, seeking a fresh start to write her story anew. Loki first became the mistress of mischief in these epic tales from J. Michael Straczynski and Olivier Coipel's legendary run, in this NEW collected edition LOKI: MISTRESS OF MISCHIEF TPB with an on-sale date of 7/14/21!"

So, the spotlight will be put squarely on Lady Loki when she was introduced around the time of the Siege storyline. That makes sense, though the character has since been used when it was revealed that the God of Mischief is able to switch between genders on a whim. As for Lady Loki, the original comic book version was a resurrected Loki who took over Sif's body as his own.

Rumours have been swirling for a while now that Sophia Di Martino will play the female Loki in the upcoming TV series. However, there's also been chatter that she might turn out to be Enchantress.

It could be that we get a combination of the two, but the planned release of this trade paperback is definitely interesting. Check out the cover for that below:

I noticed at Tescos the other day that they were selling Young Avengers vol 1 which is odd because my work doesn’t usually sell comics, let alone full graphic novel collections. Is this the same thing, pushing an older story that they might be adapting?

Greg Land is like a Highlights for Kids magazine article, where you're trying to spot how many Pamela Andersons there are hidden in each picture.
