WARNING: Spoilers For Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania follow!
In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania's post-credits scene, we see Loki and Mobius attending a presentation on time by a Kang Variant, Victor Timely, in the early 1900s.
The stinger served as a tease for Loki season 2, and comic book fans will know that Victor was a Kang Variant who was stranded in the past and used his knowledge of the future to shape that world (inadvertently creating the technologically advanced Marvel Universe as we know it). Whether Marvel Studios will head down that route remains to be seen.
According to The Cosmic Circus, Jonathan Majors looks set to have a sizeable role in Loki, with the actor reportedly appearing in at least three episodes.
It sounds like we'll spend time with more than one Kang, with Loki and Mobius travelling across different timelines in search of the villain's many Variants in an effort to "map out and see the extent of their control across time."
However, those of you hoping to catch up with Immortus, Rama-Tut, and the Council of Kangs may be disappointed as they're "unlikely" to appear. It's noted that they are going to be mentioned and referenced throughout the season due to the fact the Time-Keepers story the TVA was founded on is based on their existence.
While Loki season 2 is bound to go some way in setting the stage for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, the site expects the show's Kang Variants to be lesser-known characters, with Mister Gryphon a likely possibility.
Qeng Tower was spotted in The Void during Loki's first season and there have long been theories that he might be the mysterious Benefactor from Ant-Man and The Wasp (making him Earth-616's Kang). We'll see, but fingers crossed that the show can clear up some of the many questions we have.
Loki season 2 doesn't have a premiere date yet, so stay tuned for updates.
