We didn't get much of an update on Moon Knight during Disney's Investor Day last month, but we do know that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker's Oscar Isaac is in talks to take on the role of Marc Spector. Now, it looks like the actor has finally signed on the dotted line and joined the MCU.
In an Instagram post, the show's cinematographer, Gregory Middleton, reveals his involvement with Moon Knight, while also appearing to confirm that Isaac will indeed be part of the series.
"Well the secret is out. It’s an honor to be a part of introducing a new character to the MCU [Moon Knight]," he says in the Instagram post below. "Who says cinematographers worry about white costumes! Not if they are complex characters played by an amazing performer like [Oscar Isaac]."
"Thank you director Mohamed Diab and the [MCU] for inviting me aboard."
Among Middleton's credits include TV shows like Game of Thrones, Watchmen, and Smallville. The fact that the crew is being put together like this bodes well for the series remaining on track to start shooting later this year, and this hopefully means we'll get more casting news sooner rather than later.
For now, check out Middleton's Instagram post below:
