Just like the leads in Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk, fans are desperate to know who will ultimately take on the title role in Moon Knight. There are plenty of conflicting rumours and theories doing the rounds online, but the hope is that we'll find out who is playing the unhinged Marc Spector at some point this year.
Time will tell on that front, of course, but the plan is for cameras to start rolling in early 2021.
That means Marvel Studios is well on the way to casting Moon Knight, and it's entirely possible they've already done so. According to Murphy's Multiverse, two actors to have been considered are Daveed Diggs and Nick Kroll. There's no word on whether they've actually met with Kevin Feige and company, but it sounds like there's some definite interest there.
Diggs is perhaps best known for his work in Hamilton, while he also plays the lead in TNT's Snowpiercer. Kroll, meanwhile, is a comedic actor who showed some serious dramatic chops in Operation Finale. They're both Jewish, and that lines up with what we've heard about Marvel's plans for the hero.
Diggs definitely feels like the stronger choice of the two, but even if that doesn't work out, it's clear now that Marvel Studios is thinking outside the box when it comes to casting their Moon Knight.
What do you guys think?
