Marvel Studios has confirmed that the first three episodes of Secret Invasion will begin streaming on Hulu tomorrow.
They'll only be available until August 17 and hit the platform just in time for next week's finale (Hulu subscribers will obviously need to sign up to Disney+ for the fourth, fifth, and sixth instalments). So, why is the latest MCU series being made available on another streaming service?
We'd imagine it's a) to boost Disney+ subscribers and b) to increase interest in Secret Invasion. It's by no means an unprecedented movie and is, in fact, a smart business decision on Disney's part. Outside of the U.S., this won't really matter as Disney+ and Hulu are one and the same.
"Secret Invasion is the MCU espionage thriller we’ve been waiting for," we said in our review of the first two episodes. "Samuel L. Jackson’s magnum opus as Nick Fury, the show delivers one jaw-dropping moment after another and quickly establishes itself as essential viewing for any Marvel fan."
