Second Season Of SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW Rumored To Be In Development Second Season Of SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW Rumored To Be In Development

We've had no official word on a second season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, but a new rumor is claiming that Marvel Studios is currently developing a sophomore run for the Disney+ series...

So far, the only live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney+ series to get a second season (What If..? will also return) has been Loki, but that might be set to change fairly soon.

According to insider My Time To Shine, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season 2 is planned, and will resume development as soon as the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes come to an end.

She-Hulk received overall positive reviews and was reportedly one of the streamer's more popular Marvel shows with general audiences, but it's fair to say that it wasn't every MCU fan's cup of tea. Though some were fully on board with the show's brand of humor, others found it way too silly, and many felt the season finale, in particular, left a lot to be desired.

Even head writer Jessica Gao admitted that the team struggled to come up with an appropriate ending during a 2022 interview.

"We really, really struggled with the finale. We started off doing a lot of versions of the finale that were much more just like straight and very, very Marvel movie, you know, and it just never felt right for us to just end in a big set piece fight, and take out the bad guy, and it just always felt like, ‘Oh, it’s a different show now.’"

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro and Jessica Gao. Co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.

Your show's coming back, normies...
The1st - 8/29/2023, 5:47 PM
@bl0odwerk - Ruh roh, someone's getting tweaked...or twerked. I get so confused sometimes. Seriously though, I find it interesting that this is the show that's coming back, but I didn't mind the 1st season. Things were said and the show did some wtf things, but mostly it's in line with the comic as far as I'm concerned. Also, I'm not the target audience for this show I don't think, unless Matt's going walking again, and I'm okay with that. I'm gradually reaching old far territory.

I'm fine with it, aside from that including villain at the end of last season, it wasn't that bad. It felt like a she-hulk comic 🫠
bobevanz - 8/29/2023, 5:20 PM
*Incel beard neck bro villain
bobevanz - 8/29/2023, 5:20 PM
Non-comparable on this site lmao
ClintThaHamster - 8/29/2023, 5:26 PM
@bobevanz - But . . . there's g-g-girls in it! We only like he-man tough-guy stuff 'round these parts. 😤
Itwasme - 8/29/2023, 6:00 PM
@bobevanz - I think your comment about it being a lot like the comic is underappreciated around here. I think the show struggled with its execution, but what were people really expecting from this? This is how the books are.
Razorface1 - 8/29/2023, 6:28 PM
@Itwasme - then maybe they should have adapted something else.
Mugens - 8/29/2023, 7:09 PM
@Itwasme - Exactly. Anyone who read the John Byrne run of She-Hulk should have expected nothing less.
Radders - 8/30/2023, 8:33 AM
@Itwasme - Ah yes, I remember how every run from Byrne onwards portrays She-Hulk and a self obsessed, egotistical, idiot with no empathy, no integrity, who takes no responsibility for her own actions but expects others to do so - good times!

Feels like most people only remember the comic was funny and had forth wall breaks

I would say "can't do worse than season 1", but the writers and showrunners might take this as a challenge.

Can't wait to take the piss out of it.

WakandaTech - 8/29/2023, 5:24 PM
lol

If true

This is the reason Marvel will continue to fail in box office and viewership

paying and viewing Costumers don't want this but Marvel does not care

bkmeijer1 - 8/29/2023, 5:43 PM
@WakandaTech - I actually want this. More than Echo or Agatha (I know, easy pickings)
JDL - 8/30/2023, 2:20 AM
@WakandaTech - Some (not all) consumers DO want this. You don't speak for them. That said I'm a little surprised.
dragon316 - 8/30/2023, 5:13 AM
@bkmeijer1 - I take she hulk over those shows any day and Wanda vision
bkmeijer1 - 8/30/2023, 5:45 AM
@dragon316 - I much rather watch a WV season 2 than an Agatha show. Maybe Vision Quest can fill that gap instead
Nolanite - 8/30/2023, 10:54 AM
@JDL - I speak for all of the general public while wielding my Nolanite wand.
JDL - 8/30/2023, 12:41 PM
@Nolanite - No you speak for a minority that is blessedly returning to the primordial slime from which it sprang.

In honor of how great Oppenheimer was, I have a suggestion for a new title for the show.

Now I am become she hulk. Destroyer of Disney's bottom line 🤣
MarkCassidy - 8/29/2023, 5:28 PM
They better bring Madissyn back
Ha1frican - 8/29/2023, 5:31 PM
@MarkCassidy - But they should move the Y so it’s really not where you think
WhatIfRickJames - 8/29/2023, 5:43 PM
@MarkCassidy - THEY BETTER BRING MADISSYN BACK

Wong and Madissyn is the buddy film I didn't know I wanted
LukeCage2155 - 8/29/2023, 5:30 PM
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's first season was entertaining, and I look forward to more She-Hulk in the MCU.
Ha1frican - 8/29/2023, 5:30 PM
I had fun with it, let people be butthurt lol
LukeCage2155 - 8/29/2023, 5:30 PM
@Ha1frican - Me too.
