WANDAVISION: Check Out A First Look At [SPOILER] From Today's MIND-BLOWING Episode

We can't say much here for fear of spoiling something, but rest assured that you need to check out this jaw-dropping reveal from today's episode of WandaVision...once you've watched it, of course!

Well, who saw this coming?

Uh, most of us actually, as it's been reported that Evan Peters would appear in WandaVision for upwards of a year now. However, the reveal that Wanda has seemingly "recast" her brother (as we predicted here on CBM) still came as a surprise, and seeing the X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix star return as Pietro was a definite shocker.

It's left us with a lot of questions...and even more theories. Wanda appeared to be surprised, so has she or someone else plucked this Pietro out of the Multiverse as a replacement for her dead brother? Could Peters actually be playing a random Westview resident who has been forced into the role?

We still haven't learned who Jimmy Woo's mysterious witness is, so it's feasible - as CBM member contrast has suggested - that's who Evans is playing (potentially with the reveal that he's either Simon Williams/Wonder Man or Eric Williams/Grim Reaper). If that's the case, it'll likely be revealed next week.

Marvel Studios certainly knows how to get us talking, and if this Pietro reveal isn't handled the right way, fans are either going to be overjoyed...or thoroughly disappointed.

Check out this first look at Evan Peters as Quicksilver below:

I feel like this is a Monkey's Paw situation. When talking to the boys about Sparky she wished she could have Pietro back. And now she does, but he's a stranger to her.

So you ultimately can't cheat death. He always makes you pay for it.

Most of us on this site did because y'all posted the damn spoiler in your headline last time.

We'll see how this ultimately plays out, but either way we know this is the start of a game-changing era in the MCU.

It’s just Nicholas Scratch posing as Pietro, that’s my theory ?? I like how the 80s is a fitting time period for this version though lol

@Armageddon26 - no, I think that's actually Peter Maximoff from the foxmen universe. Remember, this is supposed to connect to the next Dr strange movie which deals directly with the multiverse. I'm guessing they decided to use a "pietro" from another universe to help keep Wanda placated, then when all this is over Wanda becomes curious about what the multiverse can do so goes to Dr strange about it. Then in that movie and Spiderman they deal with the multiverse shenanigans that ends with elements of the foxmen universe merging with the mcu. That way some of the more popular parts of that series come over (quicksilver and deadpool) and explains why mutants haven't been a thing until recently. But also leaving room for any new interpretations (more "recasting")

@Armageddon26 - I hadn't thought about it but that could actually be the reason he's changed; the MCU Pietro wouldn't have been born in the 80's, so whoever is truly behind this plucked an adult-this-decade version of him out of the aether that is the MCU Multiverse (pun intended). It also fits with the notion of reality re-writing things to fit the time period they mentioned in the episode.

@aRush - Seems plausible! They stressed that detail a lot this episode. On rewatch Wanda specifically told Tommy and Billy that Pietro was “far away”, and they seem to have some magic themselves that Wanda can’t control. I wondered if all that set-up was to hint they were the ones that brought a Pietro from “far away” that fit the time period

@Origame - thats along what I've been saying. They can react as they see fit or pick and choose from any of the tv shows or other movies people they want to bring into the actual MCU fold.

@Armageddon26 - I like this. I caught the Far away part but like the thought of the boys being the ones that pulled him from another universe.

@Samayel - The Quicksilver credit card ad with Samuel L Jackson isn't actually from this show, it was a real life commercial.
