In the WandaVision series finale, Wanda Maximoff finally became the Scarlet Witch. That transformation came with an incredible new costume which pays homage to the comics in all the right ways.
Now, thanks to Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development and concept artist Andy Park, we have a first look at artwork depicting the hero's (?) updated costume. What we saw on screen matched this pretty much perfectly, and helped fans get over WandaVision's lack of Mephisto and Doctor Strange!
In a lengthy post crediting all those who worked on the design, Park says: "The approved concept design I did for the finale of WandaVision! If you follow me you know that I’ve done a lot of designs of her through the years on the past MCU films. Those were fun. But none of that compared to working on THIS! I was finally given permission to go full on Scarlet Witch comic book costume AND do a crown yay!! What a dream!"
It's a dream come true for many fans as well, because this is a costume they've been dreaming of seeing on screen ever since Olsen was cast was Wanda Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Of course, we'll be seeing more of it in action in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
