We weren't sure what to make of this at first, but it looks like Disney+ really has made a few key alterations to the post-credits sequence of WandaVision's "Series Finale."
Reddit user u/ANotCoolGuy has noticed that a mysterious silhouetted shape can be seen floating down past the treeline on the top left of the screen. It could be anything, really, but it does somewhat resemble a caped figure. White Vision dropping in on Scarlet Witch at the cabin? Someone a little more Strange, perhaps?
We thought this might have been part of the original scene and simply went unnoticed, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Murphy's Multiverse went back and did a side-by-side comparison with a screenshot from the version that aired back in March, and not only was the silhouette nowhere to be seen, but the setting also looks slightly different with more trees and a darker color palette - and that's not all!
The site has also noticed that the episode's credits have been updated to include Michael Giacchino, who is credited for the use of his Doctor Strange theme.
What does all of this mean? Well, the most likely explanation is that the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is going to include the updated version of this sequence in order to establish the sequel's ties to the Disney+ series, similar to how Ant-Man's post-credits scene carried over to Captain America: Civil War.
