WANDAVISION Honest Trailer Makes Fun Of All Your Biggest Fan Theories About The Marvel Series

The Honest Trailer for WandaVision has been released, and while it doesn't shy away from making fun of the first Marvel Studios TV series on Disney+, it's the fan theories which really come under fire!

WandaVision proved to be another major hit for Marvel Studios, and an exciting way to bring the Marvel Cinematic Universe to Disney+ on a weekly basis.

Unfortunately, some fans were left feeling disappointed, mostly because they got their hopes up over online theories which never panned out. It doesn't take too long for the Honest Trailer team to take aim at that wild speculation, and we're sure them pointing out that Evan Peters was brought back as Quicksilver solely to set up a "boner" joker in the finale will make you laugh more than the reveal itself.

While it looks like the Screen Junkies team struggled to find too many negatives about WandaVision, their observations about Vision's cluelessness and the big CGI battle which has become a staple of every MCU movie's final act are hard to disagree with in many respects.

However, this Honest Trailer makes its most astute observation when pointing out what has become a recurring theme of Marvel's heroes (and villains) retreating to remote log cabins for their happy endings. Bruce Banner, Thanos, Tony Stark, and now the Scarlet Witch have all headed into the wilderness at the conclusion of their respective story arcs, though in Wanda's case, if that is Mount Wundagore, it could be setting up future stories involving the character.

@bkmeijer - Just remember kids... We can end racism together, as long as we have a superhero with electric powers barge through our doors.

@Kumkani - I absolutely refuse to believe this was a real scene that was filmed and aired on TV

Wow! Let’s just rewind the racism away...That’ll fix everything 🤷‍♂️...

Totally unreal that whoever thought this up, not only got it through a pitch meeting, but also got it filmed and on the air...

I really don't get much of the criticism against fan theories. Had the set up questions been given satisfying answers I'm sure most of the fanbase wouldn't be complaining this much. Like, what's the deal with dottie? Oh, she's a random member of the town. Who created the hex? Oh, it was Wanda, even though we made that clear by episode 3 while hinting more was going on with that, even though that's really it. What's the identity of fake pietro? Oh, he's another resident who also is a set up for a boner joke. Literally the only reveal that works at all is Agatha, and that was one of the more boring theories people had because it was so ridiculously obvious that's what they were going for.

@Origame - I personally don't see why people thought Dottie was important.

@Kumkani - I will say her introduction did introduce her as "the person who controls everything". While I personally didn't see her being that important, I figured that was leading to some kind of reveal. In fact she and pietro are why my nickname for wandavision is red herring the series.
