WANDAVISION: Yes, That Was Actually [SPOILER] Singing In Friday's Memorable Episode

Last week's episode of WandaVision ended with the reveal that Agnes is indeed Agatha Harkness, and has been pulling the strings in Westview since the beginning. We don't know exactly what that means, as it's clear Wanda Maximoff has some control, but Agatha is definitely a villain (she killed Sparky!) and wants something from the Scarlet Witch.

There have been plenty of Mephisto hints, and Nightmare also remains a strong possibility, though we wouldn't be shocked if Agatha has actually been combined with the latter for her MCU debut.

Agatha revealed her sinister ulterior motives in a musical number which we now know is titled "It was _____ all along." As expected, it was written by Frozen duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, but actually performed by Kathryn Hahn (the female voice we hear in the song).

As you may have already realised, this tune was supposed to pay homage to The Munsters, the classic sitcom which ran from 1964 to 1966. Even the title cards were nearly identical, and that plays nicely into the clearly supernatural nature of Agatha Harkness. You can watch the sequence here.

In the comics, Agatha has typically been portrayed as an ally to the Scarlet Witch, but she'll arguably make a better villain, especially if Marvel Studios does pull ideas from other characters.

What are your theories about Agatha's role in WandaVision?

Theory:
I think the “Aerospace Engineer” is Adam Brashear ‘Blue Marvel’ and he will return in Captain Marvel 2. CM2 will lead to the discovery of Galactus and that will lead into the Fantastic 4. Galactus and his heralds might be the big bads for the next phase.

@WruceBayne - if its gonna be a character thats gonna return, I think the engineer is Talos' daughter (Lyja?) disguised as Major Goodner

@bkmeijer - that also works. That actually works better than my theory.

@WruceBayne - CM2 laying the groundwork for next big bad still works. Can see CM3 be about the Annihilation Wave too

I just realized that Agatha is an MCU villain portrayed like a Disney villain: there's a twist reveal, she's manipulative, she revels in how bad she is, she has her own lair, and of course her own musical introduction.

@Waddles - now that you mentioned the color of her magic, some people noticed something with the latest episode: both Wanda and Agnes have flowers in their gardens that are the color of their magic: Wanda has red flowers (most likely roses) and Agnes has purple flowers. but here's the interesting part: Dottie, the lady from episode 2 that we haven't seen since then, gets a blink-and-you-missed-it appearance in the episode when Wanda tries to fight Monica, she was attending her garden which has yellow flowers. some are theorizing she may be another witch/magic user.
