What If...? is fast approaching, and if this new TV spot is anything to go by, we should definitely expect the unexpected in the highly anticipated animated series from Marvel Studios.

There's some great footage here, including shots of Tony Stark and Erik Killmonger after the latter saves him from The Mandarin's kidnap attempt and an Ultron who has seemingly become all-powerful after taking control of Vision's body (and the Infinity Stones). Killmonger gets quite a bit of the spotlight too, as we later see him teaming up with Shuri for a battle in Wakanda.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, What If...? star Jeffrey Wright was asked about potentially reprising the role of The Watcher in a live-action MCU movie or TV show.

"Well, one never knows. The Watcher is everywhere, so one never knows," he teased. As for whether the show will have wider ramifications for the MCU, Wright again chose his words carefully: "Well, I think the question is, What if that would happen? Anything's possible. We'll have to wait and see."

That's an intriguing tease, and August 11 really can't get here soon enough.
