We're one week away from the launch of What If...? and Marvel Studios has now shared the first official clip from the series. Taken from the premiere (which will put the spotlight on Peggy Carter's transformation into Captain Carter), this sneak peek should give fans a much better idea of what to expect from the show, particularly when it comes to the animation style it will make use of.
As for what we see in this footage, Captain Carter appears to have just rescued Bucky Barnes and Dum Dum Dugan from HYDRA. However, just as they're starting to become overwhelmed by the Red Skull's forces, the HYDRA Stomper arrives to save the day!
Piloted by Steve Rogers, Peggy is just as surprised as Bucky to see this impressive armour in action.
We know that in this world, Peggy took the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve, and it seems Howard Stark came up with a way for the sickly hero to still protect his country as a superhero. Needless to say, What If...? looks great, and it definitely doesn't feel like Marvel Studios have cut corners here.
